New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) 'Mission Sampoorna Kashmir' (MSK), a voluntary organisation set up to bring about general awareness on the valley, today castigated intelligence agencies for running along ''archaic lines'' and warned that a pan-world conspiracy was working overtime to undo the Indian polity and tear apart its social fabric.
A statement issued by the MSK said India's phenomenal growth had brought certain inherent weakness in the system that threaten to put hurdles in the march ahead.
The greatest hurdle is that the State apparatus was woefully short of the needs of the hour, particularly on the National Security front.
All the new assets like dams, power houses, atomic units, industrial setup, communication lines and infrastructure network, were under threat of sabotage and subversion from known and lesser known elements.
''India is unmistakably under the dark shadows of a pan-world conspiracy which is working overtime to undo the Indian polity and tear its social fabric apart. It is painful to realise that we have a shoddy system in place which is not able to cope with the situation. Our intelligence agencies continue to run on archaic lines with preponderance of police culture in them. We can hardly boast of the existence of any highly professionalised National Security agency which could react instantly in case of an emergency,'' MSK Chairman Sunil Shakdher said in a statement.
