PARIS, Nov 1 (Reuters) Argentine David Nalbandian is out of the running for a Masters Cup place, the ATP said today.
Nalbandian was one of several players fighting at this week's Paris Masters Series tournament for one of the two remaining tickets to the November 11-18 season-finale in Shanghai featuring the world's top eight.
The 2005 Masters Cup champion, who stood only an outside chance, will not make it even if he wins the title in Paris because results from contenders ahead of him in the ATP Race mean he can no longer finish in the top eight.
Nalbandian plays world number one Roger Federer in the third round later today.
