Lahore, Nov 1 (UNI) India will host Pakistan next month in the fourth edition of the snooker test series for the Friendship Cup, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSA) said.
The series, which was originally scheduled to be held last year, will be held in New Delhi from December 1 to 6, a PBSA spokesman said.
PBSA president Ali Asghar Valika and his Indian counterpart P V K Mohan had a meeting in New Delhi in this regard.
Valika, who witnessed the World Under-21 Snooker Championship in Goa, expressed happiness with the proactive attitude of the Indian officials, who fulfilled the promise of squeezing an Indo-Pak Test series even in the tight schedule in the last quarter of the year.
The PBSA has also proposed to increase the number of contests between the two countries. The two cue sports federations of the neighbouring countries are considering having three events every year.
The snooker test series is likely to be followed by a triangular snooker series by roping in a third team while there were plans to introducing a bilateral billiards series as well.
