Mumbai, Nov 1: HUSCO International, one of the world's largest hydraulic and electrohydraulic control system manufacturers, today announced the commencement of operations at their R&D and manufacturing facility at Talegaon near Pune.
The company which manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic controls for construction, industrial, automotive and agricultural equipment, said its Pune facility, under first phase of expansion plan in India, is ready for manufacturing and product testing.
HUSCO is developing a world class R&D facility in Pune that will support its engineering needs worldwide, the company said.
The R&D facility has 30 engineers and plans to increase their number to 100 by 2010. HUSCO plans to have an employee base of 70 associates by the end of 2007 and 300 by the end of 2010, it added.
