Chandigarh, Nov 1 (UNI) Haryana Housing Board has offered new housing schemes to the public in Sector 20 of Panchkula and Madlauda near Panipat on hire purchase basis.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Board said the booking of these schemes would open on November 5 and would close on November 30.
In Panchkula, the total number of flats offered is 170, out of which 50 are of type A category and 120 of type B category.
Type A category flats which will have four bedrooms with a covered area of about 2353 square feet are being offered at a tentative price of Rs 52.70 lakh and type B category of three bedrooms with a covered area of about 1416 are being offered at a tentative price of Rs 33.90 lakh.
The spokesman said that 20 per cent of the flats were reserved for Board's employees and 33 per cent of remaining 80 per cent for women.
The application forms for this scheme can be purchased from the offices of Housing Board at Panchkula and Executive Engineer of the Board at Karnal, Gurgaon, Rohtak and Faridabad.
''The highlights of this project include planned city with all the basic amenities, incomparable quality at affordable price, innovative design, free hold property, posh and fully developed neighbourhood, lush green areas with wide roads and earthquake resistance design,'' he said.
The scheme of Madlauda has been offered for the bonafide residents of Madlauda. A total number of 84 low cost affordable houses are offered under the scheme.
As many as 30 in type-I category with plot area of 200 square yards at a tentative cost of Rs 15.80 and 54 in type-II with plot area of 159.50 square yards are being offered at a cost of Rs 12.60 lakh.
The spokesman said the order of preference for draw would be first for village Madlauda, then Block Madlauda, Tehsil Madlauda, district Panipat and then other than above.
''The highlight of the project is that it is strategically located in the National Capital Region of Delhi, just 17 kms from the Panipat on Panipat-Jind road and close proximity to National Highway-I,'' he said.
The application forms can be purchased from the offices of Housing Board at Panchkula and Executive Engineer of the Board at Karnal, Estate Manager at Panipat and Extension Counter village Madlauda.
