New Delhi, Nov 1(UNI) Food Corporation of India (Handling) workers' continued their agitation for the tenth day today, seeking acceptance of their 29 demands, including an end to the exploitation of contract employees.

Union President Ganpat Sahani said the stir, which started at FCI headquarters at the Barakhmaba lane here on October 23, continued as none of their demands was considered favourably during the discussion between the senior office-bearers of the union and the management, according to a release.

Labour leader H P Singh said: '' Workers working under DPS and no work no pay system are not given even the wages so as to help them cater to their basic needs. The FCI management will have to bow before the struggle of the workers.'' Though the contract workers, another labour leader U K Gupta rued, do the same work for FCI as is done by the department workers, the contract workers are exploited at the hands of the contractors.
