Celebrate Nov 1 as Independence Day: Freedom fighters

Puducherry, Nov 1 (UNI) Federation of Freedom Fighters Movement and the French India Viduthalai Kaala Makkal Narppani Iyyakkam today took out a procession here demanding that the Puducherry Administration should celebrate today, as its ''Independence Day''.

After hoisting the National flag at Kottakuppam, the procession culminated at Gandhi Thidal.

Several freedom fighters participated in the procession.
