Camp to be held as scheduled in Kolkata: Shetty

By Staff

Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) The two-day preparatory camp for the Indian team ahead of its home series against Pakistan will be held as per schedule at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata beginning tomorrow.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty today quashed rumours that the camp might be shifted due to unseasonal rains in the city of joy.

''There is no shift in the camp venue. It will be held at Kolkata,'' he added.

The Indian team, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is set to get back into the groove at the camp for the five-match limited overs series against Pakistan which starts at Guwahati on November 5.

The other matches in the rubber are to be held at Mohali (November 8), Kanpur (November 11), Gwalior (November 15) and Jaipur (November 18).
