SpiceJet records 52% passenger revenue in Q2

New Delhi, October 31 (UNI) Low-cost airline Spicejet has registered a growth of 52 per cent in passenger revenue which grew to Rs 207 crore during July to September from Rs 136 crore in the same period last year.

Total income for the same period grew by 65 per cent from Rs 164 crore to Rs 270 crore. A net loss of Rs 37.8 crore is reported compared to a loss of Rs 31.9 crore in same period previous year SpiceJet increased the number of flights during the quarter from 4,053 to 7,279. The number of passenger flown went up to 8,58,000 against 5,25,000 same quarter last year.
