Philips launches HandsFree Intelligent Food Processor

Chennai, Oct 31 (UNI) Philips Electronics India, a subsidiary of Royal Philips Electronics, today announced the launch of country's first ever Handsfree Intelligent Food Processor for the Indian market.

The launch was in line with Philips' objective to transform into a lifestyle and healthcare company using innovation as a key driver, a company release here said.

The Intelligent Food Processor was developed in India, based on an extensive research on consumer insights carried out with several housewives all over the country.

With this innovative range, the company plans to capture and sustain market leadership in Indian domestic appliances industry.

The Intelligent Food Processor range would currently be available in three models across the country, priced between Rs 4,995 and Rs 8,595 at all Philips authorized distributors and dealer outlets.

The small domestic appliances industry was estimated at Rs 5,000 crore and was expected to grow at 12 per cent rate approximately, the release added.
