Panchanan Rai Award for meritorious students

Lucknow, Oct 31: To pay glowing tributes to late MLC Panchanan Rai, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh today announced to honour the meritorious students with the 'Panchanan Memory Award' on Teachers' Day.

The announcement was made by leader of teachers group in the state legislature and Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh president Om Prakash Sharma last evening.

''The students securing highest marks in high school and intermediate examinations would be awarded with Rs 15,000 and 20,000 respectively,'' Mr Sharma informed. UNI
