The conference on 'Driving Excellence through Best Practices' will be held here from November 30 to December one.
The delegates from diverse industries ranging from manufacturing, retail, healthcare, IT and banking will share the best practices of their respective fields to improve efficiency, profitibility and competitiveness.
'' India has been taking ideas for years, now it is time that we give some ideas back. Best practices across the globe can be adopted successfully,'' said Satish Kini, member of BCP.
According to an all-India survey conducted by BPC, it takes an average of 6.9 months for an employee to learn a job. Given generic training, the time can be cut down to 4.6 months, with 62 per cent of the companies and offices surveyed saying that there was a 'huge gap' between academic qualification and practices.
