More doctors will be engaged to implement School Health Scheme
Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration has adopted a revised strategy for implementation of the School Health Scheme, increasing the number of doctors and supporting staff for the purpose.
Now, six Medical Officers would be engaged to implement the scheme.
Ayurveda and homeopathic doctors would be engaged in case allopathic doctors are not available.
The Administration approved changes in the implementation of the second phase of the scheme after an intensive survey. Now, follow up of previously examined children would be done.
A thorough medical and dental examination of all children would be done before entering the school.
