IFS officer suspended

Bhopal, Oct 31 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has suspended an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer and one assistant forest conservator on the charge of irregularities.

A government spokesperson said IFS officer V S Hotgi, who was posted as a director in a forest school in Betul, and assistant forest conservator A K Gote, who was posted in the same school, were suspended.

Mr Hotgi was suspended on the charge of irregularities committed in his capacity as the director in assessment of answer sheets in the final paper of Forest Conservator Training Session 77.

Besides, he had also committed irregularities when he had charge of Rajgarh as the Divisional Forest Conservator.

Mr Gote was found guilty of irregularities pertaining to failure of trainees during the Forest Conservator Training Session 77.

During the period of suspension, their headquarters would be the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest office in Bhopal.
