Hyundai launches compact car i10

today
launched
its
new
compact
car
i10
which
is
the
first
car
from
the
company
to
make
its
world's
debut
from
here
with
India
being
the
full
production
and
export
hub
for
the
car.
''HMIL is poised to play a very important role not only in India but also in Hyundai Motor Corporation's (HMC) global plan and we hope that with India becoming the hub for small cars we would see a significant increase in the company's presence in many more countries,'' HMC Presidnet Jae Kook Choi told reporters here.
The new i10 is powered by 1.1 litre iRDE petrol engine which delivers a 66 PS @ 5500 rpm and is mated to five speed manual transmission.
