HPCC receives 125 applications for party tickets

Shimla, Oct, 31 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee had received as many as 125 applications for party tickets till today here in the state office, General Secreatry Kuldeep Singh Rathore said here today.

''The number of applications is likely to increase as many applications have been submitted with the District Congress Committees, which are still pouring in to the state party office and the final figure of the aspirants could only be ascertained once all the application reached the state office,'' he said.

He said the applications would be sent to the Pradesh Election Committee for examination. A meeting to draft a formula regarding the awarding of party tickets would be convened on November 4.

The All India Congress Committee would announce the names after the Congress Parliamentary Board decided on the matter.
