Four killed in a road accident in Karnataka

Davanagere, Oct 31(UNI) Four persons were killed and another injured seriously when a van in which they were travelling collided head-on with a speeding truck near B G Kere in Molkalmur taluk in the district today.

According to police sources, the mishap occurred when the vehicle was hit by a speeding truck. All the victims belonged to Kampli town in Bellary district and were proceeding to Tumkur.

While two persons died on the spot and other two succumbed to their injuries at Molkalmur General Hospital. Another victim who was admitted to the hospital was in critical condition, the sources added.
