Delhi Assy Speaker felicitates Ortho surgeon

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Prem Singh along with several members of the Delhi Cabinet and Leader of the Opposition in the House Jagdish Mukhi today felicitated renowned ortho surgeon Onkar Nath Nagi of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for his successfully carrying out several joint knee replacement surgeries.

Ch Prem Singh, who himself underwent a successful surgery for both his knees, said it was a matter of pride for them to felicitate Dr Nagi, who has made a name for himself in the field by carrying out more than 7000 joint replacement surgeries of the knee ''He has made the country proud through his skill and expertise in the field of joint replacement surgery. He has established a name for himself on the international level and has been a recipient of many an award,''Ch Prem Singh said.

Also felicitated on the occasion were Dr Nagi's team of doctors comprising Dr Suvendu Prasad Rai, Dr Sumit Kumar Jain, Dr Mukund Balu, Dr Ashwini Bhaichand and Ms Rajni Sharma.

Members of the Bureau of legislative studies also participated in the felicitation function.
