Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh today alleged that the Congress Government had no control over the administrative machinery.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP Spokesman N Ramchander claimed that this had been proved with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy reportedly expressing anger during the District Collectors' conference here yesterday over ''administrative lapses'' in sending orders by officials in the State headquarters to the district collectors on land acquisition for 'INDIRAMMA' housing scheme.

''It is a sorry state of affairs that the Congress Government has no control over the administrative machinery, that too on the implementation of the Government's pet programme,'' he lamented, urging the Government to wake up and immediately address serious issues concerning the poor people, including farmers.

Referring to the damage caused by depression in the South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, he said party State President Bandaru Dattatreya would tour the worst-affected Nellore district on November 2, while BJP Kisan Cell National Secretary D Koteswara Rao would visit Anantapur.
