AP Govt finalises 67 locations for RRPS

Hdyerabad, Oct 31 (UNI)The Andhra Pradesh Government has finalised 67 places for setting up of Rural Residential Public Schools (RRPS) under Public Private Partnership (PPP).

According to an official release here, preliminary MoUs would be signed with private partners soon.

The land has already been identified by District Collectors and after the organisations fulfilled all the conditions, the land will be handed over on lease to them.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who reviewed the progress of project, asked the School Education Department to thoroughly examine the financial capacity of the organisations before finalising the MoU s and make them understand the aims and objectives of the government.
