Hisar, Oct 30 (UNI) From today, Geetanjali Nagpal, former model, shall stay at girls' residential institution Vidya Devi Jindal School for about four months.

''She is excited and happy with the decision of coming over here. She would have plenty of time for her creativity, entertainment, studies and other hobbies," Principal Gunmeet Bindra of the school told UNI.

''We shall certainly make a difference to her life and she will be back healthy and happy, integrated in the mainstream of life'', Ms Bindra said.

She will interact in fashion designing, dance and gardening with the girls apart from finding time for cycling, which is her hobby, she said, adding that Santosh Nagpal, her mother, would also stay with her.

The management of the school had requested Delhi Commission for Women to send the former model to the school for her rehabilitation.

Barkha Singh, chairperson and Dr Nagpal of VIMHANS, where Geetanjali was recuperating at Delhi, had given green signal to her shifting to Hisar girls school after ensuring that it offered a better ambience for her recovery.

Our teachers had suggested that we bring her here to an environment of harmony, happiness and peace and in the company of her mother.

Geetanjali Nagpal, a contemporary of Sushmita Sen, was found living like a destitue on the roads of Hauz Khas locality in South Delhi recently and was sent to Vimhans for treatment.
