Royal Orchid Hotels' Net Profit post 11.27 per cent rise

Bangalore, Oct 30,(UNI) The Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL), has, on a stand-alone basis, registered an 11.27 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 7.43 crore during the second quarter ended September 30, compared to Rs 6.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its total income shot up by 4.89 per cent to Rs.21.65 crore as compared to Rs 20.64 crore during the same period last year.

The consolidated results reflect a Profit After Tax of Rs.7.49 crore, a 5.93 per cent rise from Rs 7.07 crore from the corresponding last year.

Total income also rose by 9.11 per cent at Rs. 31.46 crore from Rs.28.83crore. Earnings Per Share (EPS) on basis and a diluted basis stands at Rs.2.75 in comparison to Rs. 2.60 for the last financial year.

During the year, Royal Orchid Hotels Limited had deployed Rs.63 crore of the IPO proceeds and the balance funds are being utilized as approved by the shareholders in the annual General meeting held in August this year.
