Meghalaya to sign MoU with West Bengal on tourism
Shillong, Oct 30 (UNI) The Meghalaya and West Bengal governments would soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding to promote tourism industries in both states, Meghalaya Chief Secretary Ranjan Chatterjee told reporters.
Meghalaya would promote West Bengal's tourist destinations - the Sunderbans, while West Bengal will encourage domestic and international tourists to visit Meghalaya, Mr Chatterjee said.
He asserted that the state government was putting all efforts to boost tourism sector by tying up with various tourist promoters.
