Indo-US Nuclear deal delayed, not dead: PM

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Describing the 123 agreement and the Indo-US Civilian Nuclear deal as ''honourable,'' Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today stated that the deal was delayed but not dead.

He asserted that India remained committed to see that the deal moved forward. He, however, admitted that there were domestic problems and a need to develop a broad-based consensus.

The Prime Minister was addressing a joint press conference along with visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel after their talks on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
