India to give $ 600,000 to Lebanon
New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) India will provide 600,000 dollars to Labanon for the reconstruction of the telecommunication sector.
The assurance was given by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Labanese President Fuad Siniora who had written a letter on the urgent need for reconstruction and rehabilitation of Palestenian refugee camps in Northern Lebanon.
Dr Singh also conveyed India's support for the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people to live in a state of their own with well recognised and mutually agreed international borders, a foreign office spokesman said today.
