Guwahati, Oct 30 (UNI) Almost all the 12,000 odd tickets for the 1st ODI match between India and Pakistan were snapped up on the very first day as thousands of people queued up since late last night.
It was a carnival atmosphere in the Lataseel ground and the CRPF personnel engaged on duty had to face tough time maintaining discipline.
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) had outsourced the UCO Bank to handle the ticket sales and they in turn hired a local cricket ground for the ticket sales.
The fans were little disturbed over the fact that both teams were arriving only on November four, just the day before the match.
This was done for the security reason.
