Jaipur, Oct 29 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil flew back to New Delhi this afternoon, concluding her two-day visit to Rajasthan.
Ms Patil flew back to the capital by a special Indian Air Force plane from the Sanganer Airport around 1515 hrs.
Rajasthan Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and other dignitaries were present at the airport to see her off.
Ms Patil arrived here last last evening. She met a number of delegations, including one from Chhoti Losal village-the native palce of her husband Dr Devi Singh Shekhawat, at Rajbhawan here last night.
The President inaugurated the five-day 12th World Lake Conference --TAAL 2007 -- at the BM Birla Auditorium here this morning. Later she visited Jeen Mata Temple in Sikar district and Ramvaji Mata Temple in Jamwa Ramgarh to perform worship.
This was the President's first visit to Rajasthan after assuming the highest constitutional post in July this year. She was the Governor of Rajasthan before electing as the country's President.
