Police distributes 'Health cards' to poor
Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 29 (UNI) About 100 poor families of Kakarlapalli village in Regonda mandal were issued 'Health Cards', which would enable them to get free medical aid from any doctor in the nearest Parkal town in this district.
The Health Cards, issued with the cooperation of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), were distributed by district Superintendent of Police Soumya Mishra at a medical camp.
The police mobilised as many as 23 specialist doctors, 30 para medical staff and medicines worth Rs three lakh to be distributed free at the camp, a press release here said.
