Pakistan denies Indian media report of terror involvement
Islamabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Pakistan has denied as baseless a report in the Indian media, which claimed its acceptance of involvement in terrorist acts in Jammu and Kashmir.
''The Indian Express report of October 29, which alleges that 'for the first time Pakistan accepts Indian dossier on terror in Jammu and Kashmir', is baseless,'' foreign office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq said in a statement here today.
He said the purview of talks under the Joint Anti-Terrorism Mechanism (JATM) does not cover Jammu and Kashmir, which is a disputed territory, and is being discussed under the composite dialogue process.
''The scope of discussions under the Mechanism relates to the terrorist incidents in India and Pakistan,'' he added.
