New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) The Delhi High Court had ordered stay on the arrest of a Gujarat-based journalist Dhimant Purohit, who was named in the police complaint in Tehelka case.
The state prosecutor Arvind Pandya had filed a complaint against him for the sting operation of Godhra riots conducted by Tehelka.
Though Dhimant Purohit had denied any involvement in the sting operation, Pandya has claimed that Dhimant misused his relations with him.
Hearing the petition by Purohit yesterday at his home, Justice V B Gupta ordered stay on his arrest. The telecast of the sting operation has rocked the state of Gujarat going to polls in November.
