Granules India net sales up by 10 per cent
Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Granules India Limited, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical formulation intermediate manufacturers, today announced that its net sales has increased by 10 per cent to Rs 50.03 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 07-08, compared to Rs 45.38 crore in the corresponding period last year.
According to a release here, the company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) margins too increased to Rs 2.76 crore from Rs 2.5 crore last year.
The company had made a net profit of Rs 2.02 crore as against Rs 2.04 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The marginal decline was because of Rupee appreciation and change in the laws of EOU units.
