Fifteen health officials suspended

Hoshangabad, MP, Oct 29 (UNI) Fifteen health officials, including five doctors, were suspended in connection with the death of three children of a poor family from diseased due to negligence in providing treatment in this district.

Collector G P Tiwari said Sub-Divisional Officer Niyaz Ahmad Khan conducted inquiry into the matter. Fifteen health officials were found guilty of negligence and strict action would be taken against them.

Three children of Budhni village-resident Shankar Lal Kahar had died due to negligence in treatment in the past fortnight. The children had not been given overall treatment.
