BJP holds review meet to discuss defiance in Rajasthan unit

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Taking a serious view of the absence of senior partymen at the recently-concluded Rajastahan BJP Executive, where more than half of the executive members gave the meet a miss, the BJP leadership is holding a review meeting this evening at Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani's residence.

BJP General Secretary, in charge of Rajasthan, Gopinath Munde said he had given a detailed report about the absence of senior partymen at the Executive to BJP President Rajnath Singh. Several leaders, including State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria and Education Minister Ghanshyamdas Tiwari, stayed away from the meeting.

He made it clear that these leaders had not made any change of leadership either in the state government or in the party.

The leaders, including Mr Singh, Mr Munde, former BJP President M Venkaiah Naidu and the BJP general secretary, in charge of the organisation, Ramlal are scheduled to attend the review meeting.
