Jammu, Oct 29 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today again visited Margi village of Kishtwar, which was completely gutted in the devastating fire last Monday night, to inspect relief and rehabilitation measures initiated by the government.

Accompanied by State Education Minister Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed, Mr Azad reached the remote hamlet early morning, sources said.

The Chief Minister interacted with the victims' families and enquired about the distribution of relief material.

Mr Azad reiterated his earlier assurance of speedy reconstruction of damaged houses and arrangement of temporary accommodation for the victims.

However, looking at the fast approaching winter, he said arrangements would be made to shift the affected families to some adjacent village temporarily on the government expenses.

The Chief Minister also assured the villagers that a special recruitment drive in police would be made in the Margi to employ local youth.
