New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) A week after Minnestoa Governor, Utah Governor today came calling to India looking for business opportunities.
During his interaction with Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath, Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr said his mission is to look for business opportunities available in India for Utah companies that have been identified as global partners for the Utah economy.
Mr Kamal Nath called for increasing bilateral cooperation between companies in Utah (United States) and India, especially in the small and medium enterprises(SME) sector that exists.
During first-ever visit by a Minnestoa Governor on October 22, Mr Pawlenty showed keen interest in seeking greater Indian expertise for research in different sectors of manufacturing and engineering.
Mr Huntsman Jr today focussed on infrastructure and financial services, information and communication technology, aviation industry and life sciences for potential commercial tie-ups in India.
These areas have been identified by the high-powered Indo-US CEO Forum for priority economic engagements. After spending two days in Delhi, the Utah Governor's mission will be in Mumbai on Wednesday-Thursday.
