Woman pushed from a running train, dies

Krishnagar, Oct 28 (UNI) A woman today died after being pushed out from a running train near Kalyani railway station here in West Bengal's Nadia district yesterday.

Police here said one Chhabi Sharma, travelling in the ladies compartment of Santipur local train, was pushed out by one Shyamoli Biswas following some altercation over seat.

An enraged Biswas then pushed Sharma following which she fell down from the running train, police said adding that she sustained multiple injuries and lost one of her limbs.

Sharma, a domestic help, was then rushed to Kalyani Jawahar Lal Nehru hospital here where she succumbed to her injuries this morning.
