Rangasamy takes note of party cadres' grievances
Puducherry, Oct 28 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today visited the PCC office here and listened to the grievances of the party functionaries.
AICC General Secretary V Arunkumar, who is in-charge of party affairs in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, during his recent visit to the Union Territory had urged Mr Rangasamy to be present at the PCC office to hear the grievances of the party cadres.
Several party Councillors had urged the Chief Minister to devolve powers to the local body representatives.
PCC President P Shanmugham informed that the party would make efforts to get funds to the party functionaries from area development fund of MPs.
It may be noted that, on October 21, Welfare Minister M Kandasamy visited the party office on behalf of the Chief Minister but he had returned without fulfilling the task, as none turned up for the apprisal of grievances.
