Raipur , Oct 28 (UNI) The body of a 55-year-old man was found in the premises of the house, which was rented out by former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, in Raigarh town this evening.

Inspector General of Police (Bilaspur range) Rajiv Shrivastav said nobody was present in the house for the past four days as the tenant, manager of a local hotel, and his family members were away to Puri in Orissa.

''It appears that the person had tried to enter the premises by scaling the wall on the backside of the building and fell down,'' he said adding that the decomposed body has been shifted to a hospital where a post mortem would be conducted tomorrow.

Denying reports that a naked body was found in the premises of the house, the senior police official said the deceased was wearing a towel.

Local police said prima facie there were no indications of murder." We are not ruling out the possibility of the person falling down while scaling the compound wall with a motive to commit theft", they said adding that the local people could not identify the deceased.
