Boy wounded in naxal shootout by armed naxals in Ghatsila
Jamshedpur, Oct 28 (UNI) A teenaged boy was wounded today when armed naxals opened fire at a couple of civilians at Musaboni under Ghatsila police station in East Singhbhum district.
Police said the boy was going with his sister-in-law when he saw four Maoists in the nearby jungle.
On seeing the armed rebels, they immediately retreated but the naxals opened fire. The boy received bullet injuries in his waist.
He has been rushed to Tata main hospital here in a critical condition.
The naxals fled immediately after the incident.
Police launched a combing operation to nab the ultras.
