Mah: 2 arrested in Milk Adulteration

Mumbai, Oct 28: Two persons have been arrested by city police on charge of milk adulteration, near Citylight garden, in western suburbs here.

Police said here today that Mr Anil Raghunatrao Kavkekar, Deputy Manager of Mahananda dairy, had lodged a complaint with police about milk adulteration.

Yesterday, around 0900 hours police conducted a raid near citylight garden, film city road, Goregaon, found one Ajyya Laxmanya Gudugudla (38) and Rajiv Ajyya Gudugudla were busy in mixing water in milk.

Both have been arrested and seized milk worth Rs 1,253 and a motor bike from their possession, police added.
