Patna, Oct 27 (UNI) RJD Chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is all set to showcase his strength once again by holding a rally at the historical Gandhi Maidan here tomorrow.
RJD party members have gathered all their resources for the 'Chetavni' rally and claimed that denizens would see a 'human sea' all around the state capital tomorrow even as the people have started thronging the city from early this morning.
The residences of RJD leaders were packed beyond their capacity with the rallysts coming in from different parts of the state.
Mr Prasad was camping in Bihar and have toured several remote places to make the rally. Apart from him, other union ministers of his party and several senior leaders have been on their toes during the past fortnight to ensure that rally becomes a grand success with massive turnout.
Mr Prasad had, in the past, organised scores of rallies during his 15 year of rule, which won him national acclaim establishing him as one of the biggest mass leader of recent times.
Mr Prasad who made his entry into the politics through the JP movement had organised his first rally, the Mandal rally in the year 1990. The rally was held to celebrate revervation given to the backwards in central government services and it was even attended by the then Prime Minister V P Singh.
Sadbhavna rally convened after demolition of Babri mosque was attended by the stalwarts of political field including CPM patriarch Jyoti Basu, N T Rama Rao, M.Karunanidhi and others.Garib rally was organised here to create awareness among the poor for their right while Bhandaphode rally was called to expose the ommission and commission erstwhile Central government. An unusual ''Lathi rally''was held in the year 2003 to expose the anti national designs of fundamental forces as well as to protest invasion of Iraq by the US.
During all the rallies, attended by huge crowd Mr Prasads party was in power and the state machinery was used for the success of the showgames.
