Chandigarh, Oct 27 (UNI) The Chandigarh Sports Department is conducting the third phase of selection trials to fill remaining seats in the state-run Girls Hockey Academy on October 30, at the Sector 18 Hockey Stadium here.
According to Chandigarh Sports Council Joint Secretary JPS Sidhu, It would be is mandatory to produce the date of birth certificate either issued by the Municipal Corporation/Committee or by the Health Department or Registrar Birth &Death at the time of selection trials.
Girls born on or after January 1, 1993 with clear height of 150 cms will be eligible for the Girls Hockey Academy.
Outstanding players will be given relaxation. Interested players to appear in the selection trials should have to bring their date of birth certificate along with two latest passport size photographs.
Players/trainees appearing for trials will be provided free accommodation.
The Chandigarh Administration will bear the total expenditure of the selected player on their education, board and lodging, medical etc.
