Surat, Oct 27 (UNI) Four persons, including a woman, suspected to be wanted by the Mumbai police were arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) here today.

''Yes we did receive information about the arrests made by the RPF at Surat, but we have yet to verify whether the arrested persons are the same group wanted by the city police here'', said a senior official of the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) in Mumbai.

The RPF arrested the four at Surat station. The four were travelling in the Golden Temple Express. The quartet when asked to show their tickets by the TTE fumbled arousing suspicion.

The Mumbai police have been on the lookout for four persons since the last few months. The foursome had allegedly conducted a recce of sensitive places and vital installations like Mahim Dargah, Haji Ali, Mahalaxmi temple, Siddhivinayak, JJ Hospital and Hilton Towers in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Police had released the sketches of the suspects yesterday based on the description provided by a taxi driver in whose vehicle they had travelled and conducted the recce.
