PARIS, Oct 26 (Reuters) World number five Andy Roddick has pulled out of the Paris Masters Series tournament starting on Sunday, organisers said today.
His withdrawal was expected after he had returned to the United States following his first-round defeat by Frenchman Fabrice Santoro at this week's Lyon Grand Prix.
Roddick, who has already qualified for the season-ending Masters Cup in Shanghai from November 11-18, is the only top-five player missing from the Paris indoor event.
