Randhawa retains tied 13th spot at Mallorca

By Staff

Mallorca (Spain), Oct 27 (UNI) Indian Open winner Jyoti Randhawa carded a one under par 69 to stay put at his tied 3th place in the Euro 200,000 Mallorca Classic Golf here.

The Indian shot four birdies but dropped three strokes in his 69 to have two round total of three-under 137.

Jyoti had a poor second round start as he hit a bogey on the first hole. He managed to fire birdies in the second and sixth but let go the advantage as he again dropped a stroke on the ninth hole.

On the return journey, the ace Indian shot a birdie on the 11th but he muffed at the 13th hole. However, Jyoti recovered as he got a birdie and earned three pars in a row to avoid any further damage.

Robert-Jan Derksen of the Netherlands and France's Jean-Francois Lucquin shared the lead going into the third round.
