New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Information technology (IT) major NIIT and software firm Adobe Systems today joined hands to provide training programmes in design, web, mobile and interactive media space across the globe.
''With our alliance with Adobe, we provide immense career opportunities through our training programmes,'' G Raghavan, President, IndividuaI Learning Business, NIIT told reporters.
Under the agreement, Adobe will provide acccess to software developer community and creative professional to skill themselves for the media, web 2.0 and animation and gaming industries, Adobe Systems President and COO Shantanu Narayen said.
Both the companies will also set up two showcase centres in Mumbai and Chennai in the first year of operation. NIIT will also offer training programmes in emerging markets of China and Vietnam in addition to other 30 countries across the globe.
''This alliance will enable us to create talent to fill the gap between demand and supply for the web developer,'' Naresh Gupta, Senior Vice President, Print and Classic Publishing, Adobe, said.
In the first three years of operation NIIT will train 60,000 people across the globe, Mr Raghavan said.
Mr Raghavan , however, refused to give speak on the revenue sharing agreement.
