Gulbarga, Oct 27 (UNI) Ivan Cerovic of Cortia lifted the 15,000 Dollar ITF Men's Future title defeating Dekel Valtzer of Israel in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
In the match that lasted 105 minutes third seed Cerovic, who had been shown doors in the Bellary Open in the first round itself by Indian Hard court National Champion Ashutosh Singh, concentrated more on his serving and did not give room for fifth seed Dekel to settle.
Playing an aggressive game right from the beginning, Cerovic, after taking short time to settle, which forced him to concede three points. However, he regained vigour to win the first set (6-3).
At one time in the second set, Dekal was making a headway having won four points, however, Cortian lad put break to his move by winning the set 6-4 to lift the title.
