Kalyan Pal (63rd) and Lal Ram Zuava (78th) scored for the winners while Tushar Srivastava reduced the margin in the 83rd minute in a final round qualification match at the Ambedkar Stadium.
With today's win, IAF became the third team to book a berth in the main draw from the qualification round. Border Security Force and Assam Rifles had already booked their places in the main round.
Today's match began with both sides refusing to yield to each other in an evenly contested first session which failed to produce any goal.

Amity did not lose heart even after two goal down and kept on attacking which bore fruit in the 83rd minute with Tushar Srivastava finding the target. But, that turned out to be a consolation goal as the Haryana side could do no more harm to IAF goal.
IAF will face national league champions Dempo Sports Club, Goa, on November 1 in the main round quarter-final.
Tomorrow, Sail City FC, Delhi, will play Osian's New Delhi Heroes in a battle for local outfits for the last qualifying berth.
