Dumka, Oct 27 (UNI) In a bid to find solutions for the flood-hit areas of Jharkhand, the state government has formed a high-level committee, headed by the state's water resources secretary.
Talking to reporters here yesterday, Chief Minister Madhu Koda said the committee would discuss flood-related issues and find solution of them.
Mr Koda, who was here to participate in the marriage ceremony of state's agriculture minister's daughter said that Godda, Sahebganj and Pakur districts of Santhal Pargana commissionary were still flood effected.
Speaking on the condition of roads in the state, Mr Koda said that construction and repairing of roads in all the areas on priority basis were being done.
''Direction to expedite the work had been given to the officials and any loop hole in this regard will not be tolerated,'' Mr Koda had told news persons.
Efforts were on to expedite the developmental projects in Santhal Pargana Mr Koda said adding mini tools trainning institute located in the district would also be made functional very soon.
The chief minister was accompanied by both deputy Chief Ministers Stephen Marandi and Sudhir Mahto, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president Sibu Soren, state's science and technology minister Chandra Prakash Choudhary on this occasion.
