BJP's 'Prachara radham' against religious conversions
Tirupati, Oct 27 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today kicked off the 'prachara radham' programme to ''protect the Hindus'' against conversions and expose the alleged vote bank politics of the Congress, from this temple town.
Addressing the press here, BJYM state secretary Bhanuprakash Reddy said the procession, after passing through all the 64 mandals in the district, would culminate at Tirupati on November 1.
On the concluding day, the party's national and state leaders, including All India BJP Organising Secretary Satish Jee, All India Yuva Morcha President Amit Thakur, national leaders Venkaiah Naidu and Bangaru Laxman, Andhra Pradesh unit president Bandaru Dattatreya and state leader Kishan Reddy would address a public meeting at the Indira maidan here.
